Liquor Licensing Melbourne

Red line plans drafted to LCV's exact requirements.

A red line plan is a legal document that defines every area where alcohol can be sold and consumed in your venue. It needs to be right. We draft plans that meet the technical standards and hold up under scrutiny.

What is a red line plan and why does it matter?

A red line plan (also called a floor plan or licensed area plan) is a mandatory component of most liquor licence applications and variations in Victoria. It is a scaled drawing of your premises that clearly delineates the boundaries of the licensed area, including all points where alcohol is served or stored.

An inaccurate or non-compliant red line plan is one of the most common reasons for application delays. It can also create compliance problems down the track if your venue's operations extend outside the documented licensed area.
